Rooted Strength Fitness
Ready to feel strong, capable, and connected to your body? This dynamic, circuit-based class combines the best of HIIT and strength training, starting with a focused warm-up for core activation, pelvic floor support, and mobility. Then, we crank things up with powerful circuits designed to build strength, endurance, and confidence at your own pace! Whether you prefer body weight, kettlebells, or even your little one as your workout buddy, you’ll find options that suit you. This class is open to everyone, no matter where you are in your fertility, pregnancy, or parenting journey.

Baby and Me Yoga
Discover a gentle, supportive space where movement meets connection. In Baby & Me Yoga, you'll flow through poses designed to rebuild strength, improve posture, and restore balance in your body, all while bonding with your baby—yes, bring your little one along! This class focuses on mindful movement, incorporating breathwork and stretches that nurture both your core and pelvic floor.

Babywearing Dance, Plus!
Special emphasis for parents with babes still comfortable in a carrier or sling. This class is all about moving and grooving with your little one. Solo parents and older kids are welcome to attend. Enjoy the physical bonds of carrying your baby while exploring different styles of dance in the most inclusive and joyful setting! Need a carrier to participate? Send us a message ahead of time to arrange one to borrow.

Music Together By The Bay
Classes for babies, kids, and mixed age groups. Build on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement, encouraging participation through play and exploration. We'll help you build the tools you need to help guide your child on their musical journey to gain the basic musical skills needed to be confident music makers. 6 Week Series
A postpartum support circle for the next stage of parenthood, as babies continue to grow (and sit and crawl…) or for the birthing parent returning to work. Our need for support doesn’t end with the fourth trimester. Continued community connection, sharing, and reflection is here for you. Come as you are. Babies encouraged but not required. Led by WFV founder and mother of 3, Julia Zefting.
Newborn Parent Group
Meets weekly, Wednesdays 10-11:30am
6 Week Series
Postpartum support circle is designed to offer ongoing support to the birthing parent navigating the very early days of new motherhood (0-4 months). We’ll come together to share in the highs and lows of new motherhood/parenthood, learning and growing together. We’ll co-regulate with each other and our babies for true community support and self care. Come as you are. Babies encouraged. Led by facilitator and birth/motherhood mentor, Jenna Walenga.
Navigating the Nest: Parenthood Support Circle
Meets weekly, Mondays 5-6:30pm
6 Week Series
Navigating the Nest is a supportive circle for parents with multiple children in the early childhood years. This can be a trying time and we’ll come together to share in the highs and lows, including sibling transitions, communication, finances, stress, culture, behavior and more. No topic is off the table. Babies and children are welcome to attend. We emphasize that couples may attend together and we recognize families of all different kinds. Led by mother of 2 and counselor Carolyn Feffer Roberts.
BIPOC Parent Group
Monthly, first Sundays 2-4pm

Join our BIPOC Parent Circle, a supportive space where parents of diverse backgrounds come together to share experiences, celebrate culture, and navigate the challenges of parenting. In this welcoming environment, you’ll connect with others who understand the unique joys and struggles of raising children in today’s world. Together, let’s inspire, uplift, and grow as we embrace the beautiful tapestry of our identities and experiences. Led by Latina mother and facilitator Edna Murrieta, who aims to cultivate spaces where honesty and compassion lead the way, honoring our collective narratives and celebrating the richness of our cultural identities.
Queer Family Connections
Weekly, Wednesdays 6-7pm

This is a weekly event for community support, connection, and resource sharing. For queer folks considering parenthood, trying to conceive, expecting, or parents of kids under 3. We welcome your experiences and intend to provide a safe and warm gathering space. Led by local queer mama and TTC/fertility doula Morgan Henry Kerr. Drop in any time during this 60 minute gathering. Suggested donation $10-20 if able.

Bellingham Bellies: Pregnant People Meet-up
Monthly, First Sundays 2:00-3:30pm, by donation
Start building your ride or die crew while you're still growing! Come on the first Sunday of each month for connection, conversation, and free bevvies/snacks. Whether it's your first baby or your third, just got that Positive test result or you're 40+3, it's never too early or too late to join. Every expecting experience is different. This is a place to make lasting friendships and celebrate (or commiserate!) together. A haven of support, resources, and solidarity.
Village Circle
Meets monthly, first Thursdays 10-11:30am, Free
Group Peer Support for birthing people of all kinds (babies 0-1y). Holding a brave space to speak truth to the realities of parenting: the good, the bad - all of it - without judgement or advice.
Each month we have a discussion topic, and in each group we explore how the topic intersects with parenthood. We share whatever is real for us, in as little or as much detail as we want and/or need. We explore a myriad of topics from hope, family, and relationships, to bodies, love, and sex.
Whatcom Thriving Fathers
Weekly, Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 by donation
Led by local father and doula Jason Oldham, this weekly meetup is a peer-support group that welcomes everyone who identifies as a father. Come as you are for conversation, community and a burger (as weather allows).
Moon Nest (Toddler Parents)
Meets monthly, first Wednesdays 7:30-9pm, by donation
A safe space to speak your truth. A sacred and confidential circle for Mamas of toddlers (1-4 year olds). Each month we will explore a discussion topic and how it relates to motherhood. No judgement, no advice. Facilitators are trained in the GPS Peer Support method, offering a safe trauma-informed sacred container. All self-identified mothers are welcome.

Our vision is to create ongoing circles and expand our offerings to include specific groups to serve our community as we grow. Specific groups may include parents of multiples, parenting special needs, birth story work, single parents, loss support groups and more. Please reach out to us with any suggestions or needs you see going unmet in our community.
Drop In Sessions
At Whatcom Family Village, we offer several drop-in options throughout the week to support families with connection, play, and productivity. All are available by donation. ($0-$15)
Drop-In Open Play:
Wednesdays from 2:00–4:00 pm and Thursdays from 10:00 am–12:00 pm.
Open to all caregivers, kids and babies (recommended age 0-7). Note: No Open Play on the first Thursday of every month.Family Storytime:
Tuesdays from 12:00–12:30 pm.
A playful and engaging session that fosters early literacy and creativity. This free event is welcoming to all ages, though most stories are geared toward younger children.Work and Play Hours: $5-$15 encouraged
Mondays from 10:30 am–1:30 pm.
An opportunity for parents to co-work while kids enjoy the play space nearby. Coffee, snacks, wifi, and community provided, but childcare/supervision is not.
These drop-in options are designed to offer flexibility, community, and fun, making it easier for families to balance their time and thrive together.
